Wild Bird Series Giclée Prints What is Giclée? Giclée (pronounced gee-clay') a French verb for “spurt of ink” is an advanced printmaking process for creating high-quality reproductions of fine art. The attainable quality of Giclée printmaking makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original by placing the ink down in spurts with a process which imitates more closely the artists brush strokes. Museum-quality Giclée fine art reproductions are recognized as “the next best thing” to owning the original and can be found in the world’s finest museums and art galleries. I have been using this process for all of my reproductions due to the highest level of quality. |
