Cheryl Birmingham is, among other things, a conservationist, a student of Eastern philosophy, and an accomplished martial artist. She is also a painter of singular vision. Photorealistic in approach and rendered with remarkable detail, Ms. Birmingham’s canvases are informed by an underlying spiritualism. Her paintings reveal the connection between the natural world and the human experience.

Until this past year Cheryl was a lifelong resident of western New York, she currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island where she hopes to focus on some sea life birds and perhaps have a studio someday. Ms. Birmingham graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 1989. Since that time, she has earned her living as a painter and graphic design artist. Her work has been exhibited in Washington D.C., throughout New York State, and across New England.
